Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.

Meet Sarah Gideon

My therapeutic approach is client-centered, meaning I believe that YOU are the expert in your life and my role is to be a guide and provide support. I strongly feel that everyone deserves to be happy and has the capability to change areas in their life that are blocking their true potential to reach happiness.

During therapy, I will help you to identify past traumatic experiences and negative beliefs that are weighing you down and keeping you from emotional health. By processing traumas and challenging negative perceptions about yourself and the world, we can start to move you towards feeling better. Depression, anxiety, self-doubt, anger, and hopelessness no longer have to hold the power.

I believe we are capable of changing our thinking patterns and shaping our reality to be more positive. We can work together to decrease symptoms and give you control over your emotional state. Your diagnosis does not have to define you.

Starting therapy is the first step on your journey to happiness. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey and I look forward to working with you.
